PhotoPlus is one of the software programs produced by the award winning software company Serif. To download PhotoPlus SE, you will be asked to provide some information about yourself. Once you have provided your email address, you will need to fill out a form so a Serif account can be established for you. An email will then be sent to you with a link you have to click to activate your account. Once you activate your account, you will be provided with a free PhotoPlus SE product key. You cannot use the software without this key, so keep it in a safe place.
With PhotoPlus SE, you can readily import image files in almost any format for editing. PhotoPlus SE gives you the ability to quickly repair photograph deficiencies like red eye and discolorations. You can also easily adjust a photograph's brightness, sharpness and contrast. You can scan old, worn out pictures, import them to PhotoPlus SE and restore them so they look like they were taken yesterday. When you use what is called the QuickFix Studio, common photograph deficiencies can be repaired quickly so that you can move on to more creative endeavors with your photographs.
With PhotoPlus SE, you can turn your photographs into artwork using the many editing tools available. Cropping and straightening a picture can be done with ease so they can fit into particular frames or be inserted into picture compilations. This software also has a feature called CutOut Studio that enables you to remove unwanted objects in a photograph. With this feature, you can also remove undesired backgrounds and replace them with ones you like. There is also a drawing feature that can be used to add to your creative power when using the software.
Although PhotoPlus SE is available for free, there are other versions of the software that have more features and capabilities. Since its creation, there have been multiple versions of the software that have been released that must be paid for to be downloaded. Over the years, new features have been added to the software. There is PhotoPlus X2, X3, X4, X5 and X6. PhotoPlus X7 is the latest edition of the software. PhotoPlus Starter Edition is just that, a free beginner's version. However, it still has all the features and capabilities to accommodate new photo-editing software users and advanced users as well.
